This Privacy Policy explains how Global Stack Rank (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information
when you use the Global Stack Rank mobile app and related services (the “Service”).
Information We Collect
- Account information: email address and Firebase user identifier (UID) used to create and secure your account.
- Profile information: username, display name, profile photo, bio, country/flag, and any links or social handles you choose to add.
- Leaderboard & activity data: your stacks balance, rank, and related in-app activity used to display standings and performance.
- Purchase information: in-app purchase events and receipt/transaction metadata needed to deliver stacks and prevent fraud (Apple processes payments; we do not receive your full payment card details).
- Device & usage data: app interactions, approximate device info, and diagnostics/analytics data (for example via Firebase Analytics and crash reporting) to improve reliability and performance.
- Notifications: if you enable push notifications, we may store a notification token to send relevant app notifications.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (account creation, login, profiles, leaderboard).
- Deliver purchases and maintain your stacks balance.
- Improve the Service (analytics, performance monitoring, bug fixes).
- Send notifications you opt into (rank updates, product updates, and service messages).
- Protect the Service and users (fraud prevention, abuse detection, enforcing rules).
Public Information
The Service includes public or semi-public features. Your username, display name, profile photo, bio, country,
and leaderboard rank/stack display may be visible to other users depending on your settings and the screens you use.
Do not share information you do not want to be public.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Service providers: We use third-party providers such as Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, analytics, and diagnostics).
- Payment processing: Purchases are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. We receive purchase events/receipt data needed to deliver stacks.
- Legal & safety: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the Service, or our rights.
Data Retention
We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (such as security, fraud prevention,
and legal compliance). You can request deletion of your account (and associated data) from within the app.
Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account in the app settings. Deleting your account removes or de-identifies personal data associated with your account,
subject to limited retention for legal, security, and fraud prevention purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal
information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate (for example, the United States).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” and may provide additional notice in the app.
